My name is Beatriz Cruz. I was born in Mexico. I was brought to California when I was five years old. I went to Ditmar Elementary School in Oceanside, San Marcos Middle School, and Orange Glen High School in Escondido. I attended Palomar College and now I’m a Junior at Cal State San Marcos.
My experience in technology is using my car and cell phone. I’m a PC person because it’s the only style of computer I always use even though I only use the basic programs such as word, excel, and internet. I depend on technology every day since I always need my car and cell phone for my important personal and business matters.
What I thought interesting in the mission statement is when it states “ transform public education by preparing thoughtful educators and advancing professional practices”. Its about training educators witch I want to become an Elementary teacher. I decided to apply at Cal State San Marcos because I watched it being built and always said to myself that I would attend this university.
